The Port of Gaspé has a wide-ranging mandate. In addition to welcoming commercial vessels (liquid bulk, dry bulk, wind turbine components and general cargo), the port is used by international cruise ships, fishing vessels, government vessels, and also includes a shipyard.
The Port of Gaspé (Sandy Beach) is located at the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, near Gaspé. The port’s wharf is set in a natural harbour protected by a sandbar at the mouth of Gaspé Bay.
